Except... he's not going to. At least, we have no reason to believe he will. The man is a professional, and he's declaring that he's not going to entertain this shit anymore.

For three years Lindelof and Cuse have taken crap from these extremist (and likely psychologically disturbed in some cases) individuals. Completely out of the blue here, the same vultures come circling again. I think it's a shame he had to actually say something about it all in what was otherwise a great piece about "Felina," but that's what he chose to do.

And before you go off on me again about it, yes you're right - people can dislike something without being one of these salivating trolls. That's not what this is about though. It's about the people who are completely unreasonable and act like they own the very properties they are so hell-bent on bitching about.

If Twitter were around back in the mid nineties when Joss was doing Buffy, I'm sure he'd be getting the same kind of responses. He always has a philosophy on writing that I liked "Don't give the fans what they want...give them what they deserve."

I've not watched Lost, but it sounds like Lindelof had a similar philosophy when he was writing. And well, if he's pissed a few people off, he must have been doing something right.
