TV's David Nelson died

For all the old timers, the oldest son of Ozzie and Harriet
has died. The first TV family playing themselves.

David did a lot behind the scenes over the years.

I was very sorry to hear this. We must have watched hundred's of episodes of The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet when I was in high school. I always appreciated what a good person David was on the show (like Wally Cleaver on the slightly more fictional Leave it to Beaver). It was a little jarring when I realized that he (of course) didn't actually go to law school.

Oddly enough, I saw his mother in Follow the Fleet a few days ago.
