TV show producers should give us a new exciting space opera universe!

I liked what I saw of the new LOST OF SPACE . ..

And, yeah, it had nothing to do with the 1990s movie, which was decades ago anyway.

You can safely put that mess out of your mind. The only similarity is the Jupiter design.

There are elements of that but without getting spoilery it's not as grim as Interstellar, for example.

I will take a look at it when I get the chance.

I know lots of people rave about Interstellar, personally I found it to be excruciatingly tedious and dreary. I know it's nice having original space stories, but is it so hard to put a little fun in them? Also, my enjoyment was not helped by the fact that I can't stand Matthew McConaughey's voice.
I'd say watch the trailers and decide for yourself if it looks like a movie you'd enjoy, but if you don't like stories where the Earth is dying and a new home needs to be found, then you probably won't.
