I just checked the ratings on wiki, and last night's LOST was the lowest ratings in its history. The record before this was last week's two hour premiere, followed by S3's "Expose" with 11.52 mil. Too bad, it was an excellent episode!

Pity about LoM because it was a really good episode last night but its just not working, it's at least 1 million short there of even being considered for pickup.

KR is getting better and the ratings fall above 6 million and if the show can get somehow up to 7 million, with the state NBC is in then we could get a pickup.

LOST may be down on live viewers but re-runs, website and TIVO still puts millions more viewers in the pocket but lets face it, LOST will never return to earlier levels...however I don't see LOST even falling below double digits and of that 4.8 demo, 4.5 was 18-34 WOW.

Winners...
American Idol, Lie To Me, Criminal Minds (R), LOST and CSI: NY(R)

Decent...
Law & Order

Last Chance Saloon...
Knight Rider and Life on Mars

Round-up...

American Idol continues to annoy me with high ratings and its not that the show is crap but just how many people watch it, instead of other scripted shows. Lie To Me may have awful retnetion but theres not many FOX shows could do better.

Katie does not belong at primetime, CBS and looks like ABC much potential line up is not doing it. LOST is very solid but at series lows and LoM has hit a new low, which is a true shame. ABC need to take advantage of the 8pm slot and not use a LOST repeat, maybe ugly Betty or something, which looks like it will need a new slot for a boost.

Knight Rider gets back in the 6 million range but it will need to crack 7 million once again to stand any sort of chance but I would say the re-tool is working for quality. Law & Order has stopped free falling but its a heavily expensive show being 19 years old and is 50/50 to hit a 20th and final season.

CW has wasted there decent start back in the fall due to the AWFUL amount of repeats they show...No one knows when an original is on and they have mucked up there entire line up.

For some reason I see NBC giving it its 20th Season just for the historic factor of it.

When was the last time a show that was scheduled after LOST do well? I don't remember...

Lost has got a very healthy demo for that viewership level. And of course the demo is all that counts. I guess the kids and old folks have bailed on the show; no wonder, it's not an easy show to follow.
