Round-Up...

American Idol helped FOX win the night but I don't understand why they didn't air it a 8pm to boost its flagging comedy shows. However IMO, Back To You has done decent work this season and for a 22 minute FOX show, the ratings are more than worthy for a 2nd season. While I do expect "Til Death" to recieve a 3rd season, its numbers have been pretty below average and I would personally cancel it, if FOX are confident they have a show to replace it with.

NBC once again got some decent numbers from the over-used, Deal or No Deal but its demo is crumbling and NBC must give the show bigger breaks in 2007/2008. Law & Order helped NBC finish off there solid night and the peacock network is starting to put together a strong finish to the season' end.

Nothing to mention for CBS really apart from, IMO with the exception of CW, they have handled the strike hit season quite poorly and I think heads should roll at the top.

ABC bless them do try but Supernanny have failed to capture the decent numbers it was pullling back before the strike ended and Men In Trees is offically on hiatus and for me it does NOT deserve a 3rd season but ABC may still bring it back for fridays, next season as they have nothing to air there anyway.

Next Top Model saw a bump in the ratings and towards the run in of the reality show, these numbers will probably hold but CW were too late to partner the show with Pusscats Dolls IMO but I would not be totally surprised to see this show return because after all CW only cares about young female viewers.

Pussycat Dolls is also a recognized "name" which will undoubtedly help it come back next year. I mean, CW is launching "Farmer Wants a Wife" for crying out loud next week. Smacks of desperation...or a severe lack of creativity, if you ask me.
