Round-Up...

Knight Rider scored its best total viewers score (excluding the TV Movie) and saw an increase of 1.02 million viewers and 0.1 in the demo. While I still think the demo should be higher, expect to see NBC give the show a full pick up if it stays above 7 million for the next 2 episodes.

While the numbers for Pushing Daisies are just plain poor there is some good news as last night saw an increase of 740,000 viewers but with a demo under 2.0, I suspect ABC will cancel the show but only after a full season order.

CBS has a choice, keep Old Christine there and it will die but move it back to Monday and assuming the damage has not already been done it could go back to its fantastic partnership with Two & Half Men since Worst Week has failed to have the same effect. Expect to hear Gary's cancellation before midseason but Christine may get a full season to prove her worth. Another note is that CBS have failed to replace JERICHO, which only got these kind of numbers (7.7 million) in season 1 when it had the Wednesday slot only once and was canned. Infact 2 years ago Jericho got over 10-11 million viewers and 1 year ago Kid Nation got around 7.35 million.

28.91 million viewers and a 9.4/23
Watched the debate on network TV last night though am sure CNN & FOX did good work on cable.

7.74 mil is bad for Christine? Isn't that a pretty good number nowadays? I've been catching up on the show on DVD and it's enjoyable.

3.18 million for a Top Model clip show?

ok I know I don't talk down the CW, but I guess the CW audience is not the type of people who would watch the debates, and would rather watch a clip show, good news about Knightrider however.

The poor demo is sinking it. :( Sucks because that episode was one of the best. Why can't a truly original, clever show with wit and heart succeed? Instead all we get is a lot of derivative cop shows masquerading as sci fi. :klingon:

My one forelorn hope is that Lee Pace and Kristin Chenowith's Emmy nominations might cause ABC to relent. They are both so frakkin talented, as you can see particularly in their scenes together.

Oh well, ABC, give it a full season and let them wrap it up in good style.

Not for CBS, which is not really dropping viewers like the other networks. Old Christine used to get 10-11 million on Mondays before with a good solid demo too.
