Well I'm hoping since Cougar Town is on ABC and they're hurting so much that it's performance in the ratings won't doom it. It's by far one of the funniest sitcoms to come out, well since Scrubs, Bill Lawrence's other great creation.

Modern Family, I guess it's just one of those shows that I just "don't get." Yet it's got the better ratings. Figures.

Agree with all of that. I watched the first three episodes of Modern Family because of all the critical love it was getting, but...*shrug* Cougar Town, on the other hand, is way funnier than I expected. I'm hoping it can keep its ratings up and survive. I'm also enjoying The Middle, even though it's basically a Malcolm clone.

You know, now that you mention it, I thought it kind of had a famliar feel about it. That's it exactly.

I like it too, not as much as Cougar Town, but it's not bad. It's nice to see Patricia Heaton play a character that isn't such a shrew like she was on Raymond.

I think all the CBS comedies have received full season pickups except for Hank... which is probably going to be stretching its premise thin within the next couple of weeks.

You mean ABC, but yeah all the others have been picked up.
