V numbers are misleading and worrying due to 2 minutes overrun of Lost and the dip in 2nd half hour...

7.81 million & 3.2/9 and 6.76 million & 2.7/8

ABC has screwed V bad with the break and airing only so few episodes in the fall. Expect V to drop to 6 million levels next week or soon and be a goner before the end of the season.

V should be on another night at an earlier time.

I feel V is a 8pm show more than a 10pm, I wonder if it could do better in FF's demo though Bones wuld probably kick its ass. The Idol factor prevents so many time slots that ABC may of felt the 10pm slot is the only way.

I was about to say those are shockingly decent numbers for "V" after its four month absence! :p

V and FlashForward are doomed. Thrown together plots and unlikable characters do not make good series.

Well if V ends...Laura Vandervoort will be able to reprise her role of Kara on Smallville.

:D

I wonder if Bones is going to suffer from a long break because the next episode to air tommorow has been leaked online.

People were predicting it would DIE DIE DIEEEE! :rommie: According to them, the hiatus and the post-Lost deathslot should have killed it. But it only dropped 6% from where it left off, hung onto over 70% of the lead-in audience and was first in its timeslot.

It's a nice, simple story that could do good action and ramp up the ick factor with lizard eating habits and lizard sex. It definitely should be a 10pm show because it's going to have to go edgier to survive. Gotta shock people and get them talking!

FlashForward is below a 2 in the demo, so it's almost certainly doomed. ABC has got only one sci fi pilot for the new season - No Ordinary Family - and that's in the superhero genre, which isn't a good substitute for the mystery thriller that they're seeking as a Lost replacement.
