MORE TO COME LATER...

Oh wow something finally had higher ratings than Dancing with the Stars (not in the same hour but still amazing)!

Winners...
NCIS, DWTS, House, The Mentalist, Charlie Brown Special and Without a Trace

Honorable Mention...
Law & Order: SVU and The Biggest Loser

Decent...

Losers...
Privileged and Eli Stone

Round-Up...

House continued its slow increase back up though it won't get its olders viewers back unless its moved away from NCIS and apparently most older viewers don't use TIVO so they don't get them back at all but its far from being in any sort of danger. I must question FOX's wisdom by putting a repeat of "Fringe" on because next week House is away from what I've heard so if Fringe is back with no House lead in, it could struggle and if not then 2 weeks is a stupid break so early into the season.

CBS had its normal power night but ABC was once again suffering from indifference and despite a good start from DWTS and the annual Charlie Brown (though down from one year ago) it saw Eli Stone take a dive towards the wrong end but the signs were there as the las two episodes saw huge drops in last 30 mins...they didn't come back this time at all.

NBC did respectable work with a solid outing from Biggest Losers and Law & Order SVU. However CW did decent stuff with 90120 proved why its in such trouble with Privileged.

I am really surprised that The Mentalist is doing so well. I watched an episode (I think it was the pilot) and it was a decent show, but it didn't really stand out from any other detective drama out there. I've seen better. It was good, but not amazing. Nowhere near where these ratings have been.

It really amazes me that, without fail, anytime a network throws on a decades old holiday special which has been seen 1,000,000 times and is available on any number of home entertainment mediums, it turns in good numbers. Things like the animated Grinch, anything with the name Peanuts...people always watch. It amazes me to no end.
