Winners...
American Idol, Hell’s Kitchen, NCIS, DWTS and L&O: SVU

Honorable Mention...
Boston Legal

Losers...
Beauty & The Geek, Reaper, According to Jim, Big Brother and Most Outrageous Moments

Round-Up...

FOX had a typical night thanks to there two reality hits and FOX is still on course this season to be the most watched network in viewers and demo.

ABC had a very good 9-11pm but there 8-9 slot was ruined by the poor scoring "According to Jim" which is still around for some reason that baffles me. Unlike other on the bubble comedies like Scrubs, this show scores poorly in the demo.
However DWTS put ABC back on track and Boston Legal ended the night well for ABC with a big improvement over last week. If ABC cancel this show then they are plain stupid, no matter how expensive it may be the show still makes them money and its holds the 2nd best ratings for any ABC 10pm slot behind Brothers & Sisters.

CBS started well with the solid, NCIS but no surprise BB ruined all that and sticking in a repeat for the troubled 10pm slot...getting embarrassing now CBS.

Apart from L&O:SVU...NBC what the hell was that and CW was normally lackluster though Repear is doing ok I guess for the CW anyway.

Reaper's no loser! It grew substantially out of the horrific BATG lead-in. Remember this is the degraded CW universe, not the normal universe. :p

The CW has hyped Gossip Girl to the hilt and ignored Reaper yet the shows come back to comparable ratings.

Gossip Girl routinely reruns worse than Reaper.

Everything on the CW is a loser, you should just put "The CW" in the loser section everyday.

Normally...

Smallville, Smackdown, One Tree Hill, Supernatural and Top Model do just enough to make the decent or Honorable list but the rest of the shows are just, well crap.

I rate the show's numbers on what network there on, lead in and competition like Berman but it still doesn't mean that CW is a poor excuse for a network and both UPN and WB (especially WB) were far better off on there own.

I can appreciate the rationale Mark.

In wider terms though, Bigdaddy's right, the whole CW lineup is a mess ratings-wise.

If it weren't for Supernatural I doubt I'd bother.

You think that's bad for CW? Reaper was preempted in the Philadelphia market on Tuesday for sports. That's the #4 market in the US. The 2.4 million for it in fast nationals was inflated. The finals were 2.25 million for Reaper. ANTM and Girlicious weren't preempted last night on CW, but Smallville and Supernatural will both be preempted tonight in Chicago, the #3 market. Good old CW. :guffaw:

Philly preemptions usually cost about 150,000 viewers in finals, which held up for Reaper. Chicago preemptions usually cost between 200,000 and 300,000. So subtract those numbers from the fast nationals for CW tomorrow, and you'll correctly guesstimate the finals. The CW has to use the finals to determine ad rates. It's tough shit and all with sports preemptions. Advertisers aren't forgiving.
