Round-Up...

CBS had another strong night though it always amazes me how low a demo they get with shows pulling in 12-15 million viewers ever week but they don't care I bet. Meanwhile FOX who loves the demo but are struggling to retain viewers but this night at least is one they don't need to touch since its doing solid work.

House may be down by over 5 million & 2.1 in the demo from one year ago but thats because 8pm does not work for it and NCIS is taking the viewers away though I guess the DVR/Website/I-Tunes are pretty sweet and I expect a big gain come midseason. Fringe is doing solid work but was down by 400,000 viewers from last week though it only shed 0.1 in the demo so no worry. Also if FOX is going to greenlight the House loose spinoff with that P.I (and I hope they DO) then partner it up with Bones next year at 9pm.

ABC had good fortune with DWTS and even drew solid viewers count for the recap but Eli Stone is a different kettle of fish. While 8.5 million at 10pm for a show only in its 2nd season may be fine and would get it a 3rd season in todays TV climate, the half hour drop for the 2nd week running is big worry that eventually it will tank.

Last Week...
Eli Stone (ABC)
10:00 p.m. – 10.07 million & 2.5/7
10:30 p.m. – 7.57 million & 2.0/5

This Week...
Eli Stone (ABC)
10:00 p.m. – 9.65 million & 2.5/7
10:30 p.m. – 7.37 million & 1.9/6

NBC did decent work but the so called brekout year may need to be push backed for a few more years considering this year and CW need to come up with a better schedule pronto.

Any one watch TV last night

Hey, Mark, it's awesome that you do these threads, but please don't bump with stuff like this. ;)

I'm sad to see House isn't doing better because I think this season is off to a good start.

I really need to check out the Mentalist because that show is doing really well! If people are sticking around, there must be something there.

I gave up on Fringe though. :(

I watched NCIS and then it's time to get ready for bed. I might check out the Mentalist next week. I try not to watch too much TV anymore.

I bet House's producers miss the AI lead in.

House last fall was getting 20-5+ million viewers, that number dropped to 16ish million when AI was on.

House was already signed for I think 3 more seasons. The reruns on USA or TNT are huge hits, so that's all I care about.

Tuesday is kind of a dead night for me. Feels like the channels are either waiting around to air AI, or afraid to put anything on that night because it will eventually have to face AI...

I only watch House and Eli Stone out of that whole group...
