Incase you somehow missed it from the other threads FOX has cancelled Breaking In, Human Target, Lie To Me, Traffic Light and The Chicago Code. FOX then gave pickups for some of its pilots Alcatraz, The New Girl , I Hate My Teenage Daughter and The Bones spinoff The Finder. Alcatraz will air in the fall and The Finder is only 13 episodes so expect it to air come midseason 2012.

A source in NBC has indicated that Harry's Law has been picked up but Law & Order: LA has been cancelled.

While not announced by the CW yet, One Tree Hill has been picked up for a FINAL 9th season of 13 episodes, expected to air during midseason most likely.

This is almost getting comical. Never watched a single episode of any L&O in all the years it's been on TV. But recently when L&O LA took over HL's slot, I decided to give it a shot and found out I really liked it.

And nows it's cancelled. Just like clockwork. Damnedest thing I ever saw. I don't know whether to  or :scream: at this point.

LOLA canceled? Didn't NBC end the original L&O in order to make room for that?

Good job destroying the franchise, NBC.

I had been saving up Breaking In on TiVo just in case this happened (I do it with almost all shows now).

Delete.

^ Criminal Intent is now on USA and is ending this year.

Rumors are they could give it another year and even the showrunner has hinted at this being true, only time will tell.

I just read on TVLine that CBS offered Hugh Grant $1 million per episode to replace Charlie Sheen on Two & Half Men but it fell through over creative differences...Hugh Grant

I hear CHUCK has done it again somehow ...

Set for a 5th season of 13 episodes to wrap up the show and pass the 90 episode mark for some juicy sydnication packages. I also hear it will air in the fall but its doubtful it will keep its current slot. Personally I expect it to be thrown to Friday Nights, possible up against FRINGE to burn the episodes off though ti could move to Thursdays to be cannon fodder for Idol if the sitcom night gets a shake up.

Chuck is the Little Engine That Could! :)

Edit to add: Variety reports that The Event is now officially cancelled (as everyone was expecting it to be).

For real. NBC has said something to that and it's been reported as such. Heck that close to 100 episodes it's kind of a shame not to see it hit 100 after all the bubble years it's had. Not that another 10 episodes enriches the syndication package any further I guess, unless it does?
