So... Rules of Engagement is about 400 times funnier than Christine, gets comparable ratings, and is cancelled ala Worst Week.

RoE should be season finale not series finale...edited it ;)

I think CBS will keep RoE on mondays this one a one off test. CBS shouldn't bother with a new comedy night 4 shows on Monday is fine. Maybe a one hour drama/comedy would be better in the Wednesday slot though rumors off a TBBT/Two & Half Men wednesday slot might work though I'd prefer that partnership on mondays.

Good news for Doll's fans because Michael Ausselio says so ;)
I just upgraded Dollhouse from "a long shot" to "prospects brightening" amidst buzz that Fox is on the verge of renewing the show for a 13-episode second season. The catch? Joss Whedon will have to agree to a drastically reduced budget.

We will know on monday though i'm saying cancelled.

I'm saying not canceled, but the budget will be so low they will be filming the show at McDonald's.

Supernatural (season finale) - 2.90 million & 1.3/3

The Biggest Loser (3 hour season finale) - 11.76 million & 4.7/12

oh come on, how did that happen?

at this rate NBC will strip The Biggest Loser for 30 minutes at 20:00 weekdays, with a one hour show on Friday.

(example scheulde)

Monday - Thursday

20:00 - 20:30 The Biggest Loser
20:30 - 21:00 comedy, The Office, My Name is Earl, 30 Rock & 100 Questions
21:00 - 22:00 cop show, Law & Order (does not matter which one), Southland, Heroes & Trauma
22:00 - 23:00 Jay Leno

Friday

20:00 - 21:00 The Biggest Loser
21:00 - 22:00 Chuck
22:00 - 23:00 Jay Leno

Sunday (after NFL)

19:00 - 20:00 Dateline NBC
20:00 - 21:00 Friday Night Lights
21:00 - 22:00 Medium
22:00 - 23:00 Best of Jay Leno (look back at the best of the past week of the Jay Leno show)

Wow I really hoped LOST would score higher for its big finale. What kind of budget did Dollhouse have to begin with? It's not like they really had a lot of glossy action scenes or anything. Aside from that big set they built, what were they spending money on?

This is ridiculous on their part. Possibly moving Chuck to Fridays. It does better then all of their Thursday night Flagship shows except The Office! And they have way more competition on Mondays. Ben Silverman needs to be fired ASAP.

Well there's several links propagating saying Dollhouse has been renewed. Holy crap. It's a sign of the apocalypse!

Wow I really hoped LOST would score higher for its big finale.
The number of viewers may have dropped, but the demo remains very strong for Lost. The right people are watching it, according to how the networks measure these things.

^^ ABC cancelled Boston Legal and kept Ugly Betty? Stupid fcuks.

Bones numbers are becoming increasingly worrying.

Southland down to Chuck numbers now and no sign of bottoming out. Should have kept Life instead, at least the numbers there were consistent.

I can't see NBC moving Chuck to Friday nights, they'll keep FNL there instead. At this point if they moved anything, it may as well be Southland, which desperately needs to try something.

Southland down to Chuck numbers?? For last 3 episodes it has been below and with the latest episodes it's 2 million below. Chuck avg demo was 2.4 and viewers numbers well above 6 million on very difficult timeslot (Chuck lowest demo score was 2.1).

Yeah I misread that, I got 6.64m in my head from somewhere. Those numbers are woeful, and already worse than Life's. Bet they wish they'd waited a little longer before renewing it now!

Then again, it's better than Dollhouse and NBC is more desperate than Fox.

I have no idea what the networks think they're doing anymore. :rommie:

Suffice to say, had NBC waited a couple of weeks, Southland would not have been renewed. They really should have kept Life.

Still, even more reason to renew Chuck now.
