It's a horrible World Series, Texas and CA. Plus it was on in CA live obviously so that would be 4:30, the game ended at 11? so really in CA they could watch both Big Bang Theory and the game.

I'm really saddened that NBC picked up the horrible Outsourced and that Community will probably die. Community is such a great show and Outsource is 90s racist stereotype bullshit.

More people watch Big Bang Theory than the World Series? I love it
Well there is more action in an episode of TBBT than pitch, catch, pitch, hit....catch.

Seems like the NBC comedies have come up a bit. Community especially. It was below 5m viewers for a bit.

$#*! My Dad Says has once again maintained a consistent number of viewers and demo. I didn't get to see last nights episode yet though.

My Dad Says is a hard one to call because CBS can act in a very strange & picky way. I still feel monday nights could be better for it due to the lower expectations of the 8-9 slot. I am sure CBS might want a little more of retention from TBBT lead in audience (mainly the demo).

It could go either way at this rate come May, with a new comedy block night, we have no way of knowing what CBS wants until the end of the season.

Agreed. I was hoping that Community's ratings would get a bit of a boost following the stupid Shrek special, but apparently not. With a full-season order for Outsourced, and Parks & Recreation waiting in the wings, there isn't really much room for Community in the Thursday night lineup. :(

NBC really need to drop Community, Parks and Outsourced.

After the incredible season and the critical acclaim Parks had, I hope not. Of course you can't drop something that isn't currently airing because of stupid comedies like Outsourced. :scream:

I watched the last two episodes of Outsourced and they're much better than the pilot was. The show is actually kind of funny now.

It's already been established that my taste in TV shows runs counter to popular opinion, that being said, I have to agree with you. Definitely not the best thing on TV, but I've found it worth DVR'ing and watching later.

FOX how was GOOD GUYS ever going to survive with having repeats for lead in all fall season?

From the above, it looks safe to say that virtually nobody 18-49 was at home watching TV last night. New shows on the friday of halloween weekend is pretty much a waste.

Actually, Supernatural got 2.47 million viewers. Berman later in the thread said he mistyped the numbers and corrected them. They're correctly posted now.

I was hoping that Community's ratings would get a bit of a boost following the stupid Shrek special, but apparently not.

To be fair, my affiliate (Detroit), they pre-empted Community with a stupid local "4 Halloween" special about local costume stores and candy places. It was stupid, I was so angry, especially when they said "If you want to watch Community, it's on tonight at 1:36 am". I mean, really???

Detroit may not have left a huge dent in the ratings, but maybe it wasn't the only place? I dunno. But still, it pissed me off. :)
