CW handling of TVD shows that don't know what to do with a show that is at the least semi succesful. CW has aired so many repeats this season I am surprised it still counted as a TV Network.

ABC handling of shows like FF & V is even more laughable and when your show is starting to lose audience the last thing you do is put the thing on a 3 month+ break. FF is not suited for the night and should of had a smaller break with a return to partner LOST & V on a super sci fi night. V also would of benefited by simply not airing at all until LOST came on the air to avoid the stupid air a few episodes then break idea from the idiots at ABC.

Finally FOX who put FRINGE on Thursdays and let Lie To Me sit n waste the monday slot for so often before being banished to a summer burn off. Soon as the signs of the time slots not working they should of changed them around, why risk losing 2 shows ?. Despite being renewed for a 3rd season its clear Fringe cannot work and must take 24's slot next season and lets hope the damage can be repaired. Also Fringe was starting to gain its audience back before the long BREAK.

oh yeh FOX, before Bones went away for god knows how long it scored back to back 10 million + episodes with a 3.0 demo...Now you get a 2.4 demo well done.

so Invasion, Jericho, FF, V, Fringe and many more over the years teach us what kids :shifty:

FRIDAY RATINGS LATER...

Is that the first time Grey's Anatomy has slipped under 10 million? What a huge decline, the first four seasons it was always up in the 20-25 mil range. Still a solid demo though.

^ A lot of people don't like where the show is heading. I know a lot of people who have stopped watching it.

Greys has always been more a daytime soap than a medical drama, it belongs on day time TV or as the partner for Nip/Tuck...its about time people caught on

The friday numbers are LOW LOW LOW hoilday weekend not the best time to air originals and I do fear for SG-U when SyFy releases ratings.

Next time on Easter weekend try repeats and speaking about friday mights in general despite this spike and am sure for CBS it was only a spike the night worth for original drama's is questionable...

In the fall network can get away with it because shorter nights and colder weather means more people at home even on a friday but after early March where the weather begins to warm up and days begin to get longer, do shows like GG/Medium and any other drama's have a place...Cable can get away with it due to lower costs = lower fanbase required.

If I was a network I would give my friday shows 17/18 seasons and end them in March. Saying that next season I expect a new scriped show to appear on fridays in the form of Supernatural with Smallville.

oh and ABC switch Wife Swap and Food Revolution around it will boost Jamie Oliver’s ratings.

^ A lot of people don't like where the show is heading. I know a lot of people who have stopped watching it.

True enough, it was one of my favourite shows in its first and second seasons, but I gave up on it about halfway through season 3, watching only the occasional episode the next couple of years. I watched most of the fall eps this season and thought it had regained some of the former quality, but haven't tuned in since Christmas. I just didn't realise the general public favour had eroded that much as well - most of my friends still watch it religiously.

Man TVD has fallen off the 3+ mark...not good.

Smallville 1.99? That can't be good either or is it for a Fri night on The CW.

Wow... guess Flashforward will be a one hit wonder... just when I finally started to really get into it.

Yeah... it's a shame they waited so long to pick up the plot and stop rearing Mark's flashforward 1800 times.

The Meredith/Derek marriage idea has annoyed a lot of people, and the recent revelation that Derek wants kids. The Alex/Izzy marriage and her leaving him hasn't helped ratings either. Cristina giving up her boyfriend for surgeries to his best friend, the Chief getting fired, all of its hurt them to an extent.

Its a medical setting for the show wouldn't ya know
