I'm surprised to see 30 Rock do so poorly when CSI wasn't even new, and Grey's only did 15 million (isn't that bad for them?).

I had not heard about this, and im a sucker for crossovers (but not for these two shows) will see what the Poobala website has to say about it.

Ugly Betty is not dead yet, however I fear people are dropping it becasue they think its about to end.

ABC is supposed to delay the end of the season to June, not next year like they did with season 1 of Boston Legal.

Also if the ratings continue to be THAT bad the show is done, stick a fork in it. Right now I'll say there is a 20-25% chance of it coming back just because ABC canceled 104 other shows this year.

I agree if ratings continue to drop, the show will be axed, but as it stands I think if ABC just made a public commitment to another season, that might stop the ratings slide.

No. They promoted the hell out of it, but it doesn't actually happen until next week. Thursday set it up though, despite all the commercials saying it was a crossover.

^ ive gone away and looked this up, very sneaky of ABC.

reminds me of the HolbyCity & HolbyBlue crossover.

some background, Holby City think a Britsh Greys Anatomy, but less about girl power and more realistic. Holby Blue is about the police force of the fictional city of Holby (where Holby City is set)

so in the first half of the crossover (Holby City) its pretty much a standard Holby City episode, with only two characters from HolbyBlue appearing in the last 5 minutes of the episode, to arrest the Holby City Doc, after that we move onto Holby Blue, where a limited number of characters form Holby City appear on Holby Blue, but the storyline developed on Holby City does continue on Holby Blue.
