I would like to say to anyone who has not seen the kissing scene in episode 2 of "TBBT" Watch it now ;) its so good to have the best comedy on TV back :bolian:

I was hoping a little bit better in the demo for TVD & TSC...no worries about TVD...but I hope TSC demo adjust up to 1/2...not gonna happen. :sigh:

I thought the second episode, about the chair, was the funnier of the too as well. I hope they keep that chair around for laughs.

Ouch. Not looking good for Community and Parks and Rec.

When has it ever looked good for these shows? there safe though because NBC has made it pretty clear it will stick by them to get 5 years out of them to make more $$$ later down the line.

I love the NBC line up especially the two new show whitney and prime suspect fantastic. I DVR"d TBBT, TVD and TSC plan to watch them today.

I'll check out person of Interest on saturday repeat.
all so as far as the mentalist goes I am playing catch up on TNT.

Ouch. Not looking good for Community and Parks and Rec.

Prime Suspect didn't fare so well either. Ordinarily I would say it's done, but maybe NBC will be a little more forgiving, at least for a little while.

I didn't watch it, so I have no idea if it was any good or not. But when I saw the promos for it, I was thinking I wasn't sure TV audience would go for a tough female cop or not. Seems like in week one at least, it was "or not."

The Secret Circle delivered similar numbers to Ringer with its second episode. Both shows could well get full season orders and perhaps even renewals given how poorly the CW is doing across the board. The Vampire Diaries is down by a third from last year, America's Next Top Model is running on fumes, and H8R is dead on arrival.

Sort of a weak demo for Person of Interest, not that much above CBS's usual cancellation level. Still, I think it delivered a solid enough premiere that it won't fall off a cliff next week.

Final demo ratings for Thursday's returning show premieres compared to last fall:

CBS

The Big Bang Theory - 4.9/15 this season, even in the rating and down slightly in the share from 4.9/16 last season
The Mentalist - 2.8/7 this season, down from 3.4/10 last season

ABC

Grey's Anatomy - 4.1/10 this season, down from 5.4/14 last season

NBC

Community - 1.7/5 this season, down from 2.2/7 last season
The Office - 3.9/10 this season, down from 4.4/12 last season

This is just more proof that nobody watches NBC. Prime Suspect has been the best premiere all week. I can almost guarantee you that if PS has been on CBS and Person of Interest has been on NBC, the ratings would be the complete opposite.

I know it's getting a little long in the tooth but I still think The Office is great TV, and they certainly held their own without Steve Carell. James Spader was a brilliant casting choice, he worked really well with the rest of the cast.

I liked Whitney at first...but lost interest after the first 15 minutes or so.

Honestly I haven't really been enamored with any of NBC's new comedies. I liked the pilot of Up All Night well enough, but I don't think I'll still with it in the long run, mostly because I really can't stand Maya Rudolph's character and don't particularly like the other two leads enough to stick with it. New Girl was just annoying, she was way too stereotypically 'quirky' and the guys just weren't interesting enough. Free Agents I think is aimed at an older audience than me, it was just dull. I liked Traffic Light and Outsourced better than any of this season's new shows.

Maya Rudolph is my problem with Up All Night. I think Will Arnett and Christina Applegate are hilarious in this though. I liked the second episode a lot more than the first.
