Remember when everyone was all excited about how Community, for a single night (when basketball took away the competition) was the most watched show of the night ever? (I'm exaggerating a bit, but not as much as some of the followers of the show, of which I'm one of)

Didn't take long to sink back to the bottom of the Thursday night list again, did it?

They should greenlight The Selection. It's got a girl protagonist, but it sounds like it's more about her battling for power than about the (inevitable) love triangle with two hunky guys.

That sounds like something that could have crossover potential to the young male audience, who likes shows about hot butt-kicking girls as long as there isn't too much kissy-face and teen angst. ;)

Community actually did really well for a few weeks. A blame the horrible Bretta's ex episode for the bad ratings.
