Despite the slightly dissapointing 4th season of FRINGE hitting 0.9 for the 2nd time this season, rumors persist from several websites that WB/FOX are making a deal to give Fringe 5th and final season...

While there are still a few points that need ironing out, a deal for a fifth and final season of 13 episodes is expected to be reached within the next few weeks.

TVLine I hear has also made Fringe a sure bet for renewal on their scorecard and last year they did the same just days before Fringe was picked up for season 4.

Personally am not 100% convinced especially if season 4 has two filmed endings meaning a better wrap up for the series than the season 3 finale would of been. What I do know is Fringe's main problem this season has been the prime verse being cancelled out for this new one, its put off some hardcore fans.

Season 4 has been such a waste of Fringe that we grew to love I don't even care anymore if it gets another season.
