Some news to kick off the thread...

AMC has cancelled Rubicon after its debut season. The series finale scored just over 1 million viewers in its live airing.

Later I will be doing a winners/losers list & Round-Up, plenty of stuff to talk about I feel.

On a side note TBBT was amazing last night, My Dad Says had the fantastic cameo from Fraiser's dad and Fringe is on its way to becoming my number 1 show this season (sorry Dexter).

I'm with you on Fringe replacing Dexter as my #1 show. I still enjoy Dexter but this season's writing has just been sloppy. Fringe on the other hand has just been excellent this season, definitely some of the best science fiction television ever produced. If anyone gave up on Fringe after the mediocre first season (and first half of the 2nd season, really), I recommend giving it another chance. It's improved a lot. I hope FOX surprises me again and renews it.

Community has held up against TBBT better than I thought it would. I don't watch either, but Community and Parks are definitely better than Outsourced, and I'm a little disappointed to see the post-Office slot wasted with it. If not for that, I suspect Outsourced would be the weakest of the bunch.

I also can't help but wonder if there will be some incentive for NBC to offer Steve Carrel a huge paycheck to keep him on The Office for another season. Nothing else on that network even comes close to a 4...

WTF is wrong with Fringe's audience? This is the best season so far and ratings are going down below 5 million? WTF? Don't complain about the lack of quality sci-fi if you don't watch the damn stuff!!!! Sorry for being pissed but I want a 4th season of Fringe!

Is Fringe doing better this season, compared to season two? I remember that it was up against Supernatural last year.

That's a sizeable shift for $#*! My Dad Says from last week.
Last week.
$#*! My Dad Says - 10.94 million & 3.4/10
Wonder if there was something external and this is just a fluke drop? The show had been going up the last few weeks again.

I hear that some NFL game might of brought the ratings down.

$#*! My Dad Says will be in big trouble if those numbers stay like that and after several really good episodes I was surprised to see the ratings fall under 10 million & a 3.0 demo. The gap between TBBT & $#*! My Dad Says clearly shows the two are not the ideal partnership. HIMYM has a very similar demographic audience and would get a big boost airing out of TBBT. $#*! My Dad Says would stand a better chance anchoring monday nights.

Its only a matter of time before CSI gives up its slow and move's elsewhere. I still believe CSI will make it to 15 years before ending but I still go with my prediction that before the end of next season we will lose our first CSI franchise.

Fringe needs to get back over 5 million and 2.0 in the demo to stand any chance at all but closer to 6 million and 2.5 demo the better. FOX must take a serious look at what they did because we already have Greys/The Office and CSI being succesful in that timeslot and really in this day & age can you have 4 succesful shows in the same slot? NO

You have to admit with the exception of Community, the other NBC comedies have great demo's when compared to their overall viewing audience. However saying that NBC was wrong to move 30 Rock away from The Office as it boosted the 9-10 slot more than Outsourced does.

Nikita is now in serious trouble with such ratings from a strong CW lead in. Also its not scoring high enough in the 18-34 female demo, I fully expect it to be cancelled at the end of the season if things stay the same.

--------
Some final stuff here and not good for Fringe...

Fringe was adjusted down to a 1.8 rating with adults 18-49

a little bit of good news for My Dad Says...

adjusted up a 2.9/8 rating

I was thinking about FOX lineup next year, Fringe has no room other than fridays, even if Chicago Code flops in midseason. The backlash to canning Fringe despite it low ratings would be bigger than Firefly IMO because we need answers to this story, it must get an ending. I would hope FOX would at least let it run 15 episodes on fridays to reach 80 episodes and at 8pm would improve FOX fridays.

Anyway at the moment I would do this next year at Fox...

Sunday
The OT/Simpsons/Cleveland Show/Family Guy/American Dad

Monday
Bones/Bones Spinoff

Tuesday
The X Factor (when down to 90 min episodes then air 30 min comedy, which would also air when Idol 2 hour show drops to 90 mins)

Wednesday
The X Factor/Terra Nova

Thursday
House/Hells Kitchen

Friday
Fringe/Terra Nova Repeat

House 8th season will probably be the last so it might as well make way for Bones to help out its spinoff on a good night.

Midseason Idol would replace The X Factor and you could have another show ready to replace Fringe if the season is shorter than normal. Also new show ready to replace Hell Kitchen in midseason though could move House to 9pm cause final season so not like it matters and House would do fine in that slot anyway, Greys would suffer more because people would want to know how House ends and The Office will drop 10-20% next year with no Carrell.

Monday
-------
Bones & Fringe

or No buys.

Meanwhile on the CW TVD seems to be holding steady...YAY! :)

I don't think the Bones spinoff will be picked up.

Might as well leave house on Mondays.

Also your schedule is a joke. You don't have Glee listed!

You don't have Glee listed!

I knew I forgot something..FOX you don't have room for anything  yeh FRINGE is so dead :(

Where the fuck will Terra air with Glee and X Factor taking up tues & wednesday? Monday with House which means Bones spinoff would have to be held back for midseason but if nothing fails then theres no where to put it unless FOX dare stick it or Bones up against CSI/Greys & The Office. I also hear J.J has a new show picked up for FOX next season first of all...

J.J wtf you doing ? FOX has zero room and have you seen the way they treated Fringe ? Also I think that all but confirms FOX has told him Fringe is dead.

I think Fringe and Terra will be shoved into a Friday night slot.

I also think J.J. is an idiot, does he even have anything to do with fringe? He makes new shows, they are decent, he leaves them and they become hits.

Terra Nova on fridays ? its a rather expensive show for such a slot really? With IDOL and The X Factor and FOX lack of commitment to friday nights scripted shows are taking an hammering from the network (Hells Kitchen/Kitchen Nightmares too)

Fox could make a decent effort with 8pm fridays at least its wide open but the 9-11 hours are taken up by CBS and theres not many viewers left after on a low rated night like that.

Friday Night
-Total Viewers:
CBS: 9.14 million, ABC: 5.63, NBC: 4.70, Fox: 2.84, CW: 2.48

-Adults 18-49:
CBS: 1.6 rating/5 share, ABC: 1.5/5, NBC: 1.2/4, CW: 1.1/4, Fox: 0.9/3

CBS

Medium - 6.92 million & 1.4/5

CSI: NY - 9.97 million & 1.7/5

Blue Bloods - 10.52 million & 1.6/5

ABC

Supernanny - 5.18 million & 1.2/4

Primetime: What Would You Do? - 6.29 million & 1.9/6

20/20 - 5.42 million & 1.6/5

NBC

School Pride - 2.40 million & 0.6/2

Dateline (2 hour) - 5.85 million & 1.4/ 5

FOX

House (repeat) - 3.30 million & 1.0/3

The Good Guys - 2.39 million & 0.7/2

CW

Smallville - 2.89 million & 1.3/4

Supernatural - 2.08 million & 0.9/3

FOX has never aired The Good Guys with an original lead in this fall, which begs the question why did they never give it a chance in the wide open 8pm slot?

Smallville did good...Supernatural looks lower...or is this just me?

I think Terra Nova will bomb and not even get a full season, so they will burn it off with Fringe... or wishful thinknig.
