Rumor has it that CW is giving up on sundays next year and only focusing on Mon-Fri.

Rumor has it that CW is giving up on sundays next year and only focusing on Mon-Fri.

No rumor, it's fact. Media Rights Capital is producing two dramas and two comedies, selling ad time for all the programming. It always was a bad idea for them to schedule "fresh" episodes on Sunday night. And what they did this season with CW Now and other garbage is just laughable.

It's nice to see Brothers and Sisters go out on top of the 10 pm timeslot. Let's just hope a subpar (IMHO) finale doesn't lead to lower viewership come fall. (And what am I going to spend my Sunday nights with now?)

Winners...
60 Minutes, Survivor, Survivor Reunion, Extreme Makeover, Desperate Housewives and Brothers & Sisters

Decent
Funniest Home Videos, The Simpsons

Losers...
King of the Hill, American Dad, The Game, Aliens in America, Everybody Hates Chris and America’s Favorite Mom

Round-Up...

CBS had a flawless night and I think its safe to assume 60 Minutes and Survivor have a few more years left in them yet. ABC also had a very good night and its hard to see there Sunday lineup change in anyway over the next few years.

As for FOX, next year in a hopefully non strike affected season, they need to have less breaks for there shows but more importantly, FOX needs new animated shows because King of The Hill should END next season and American Dad while it will easily get over 100 episodes, will never bring in FG type ratings and eventually will fade away. While I see FG going on for at least 4 more years minimum, I do think while The Simpsons could reach 25 (the so called new total by FOX from what I've heard) it would arrive a mere carwrecken victim of its formerself. The 20 year old animated giant should end next year in a extended 20th season followed by at least 2 more movies...

All Good Things, FOX.

NBC & CW, what a waste really.
