Some TV news today...

ABC have cancelled Men In Trees after just 2 seasons

American Dad outperformed the Simpsons?! Wow. Well, it was a semi-important episode with the CIA after Roger, could that have been why?

That's a disappointing number for Brothers and Sister heading into the season finale. I wonder if it will get transplanted next season to a mid-week berth. (Still came in #1 at 10, though.)

Winners...
60 Minutes, Extreme Makeover, Cold Case, Desperate Housewives and Brothers & Sisters

Honorable Mention...
Family Guy

Decent...
Funniest Home Videos, The Simpsons and American Dad

Losers...
King of the Hill, Everybody Hates Chris, Aliens in America and The Game

Round-Up...

ABC had a typical sunday and congrats to "Funniest Home Vids" for reaching the 400 episode landmark. All of ABC's sunday shows will return next year and I've heard many calling for the Emmy's to show Brothers & Sisters some loving but only time will tell for the 10pm hit.

CBS hits 60 minutes and Cold Case will also return next year and also I feel DEXTER did quite well when you consider everything and IMO, CBS should show season 2 during the summer.

The movie buzz is well and truly over for The Simpsons and I still feel the show should go out next season after the 20th landmark but am sure it won't. King of The Hill was a loser for the first time in ages and I feel that show should go next year too but Family Guy's episode last night was the best of the season since the STAR WARS parody so am glad the ratings shown that.

NBC and CW had nights to forget and despite being cable repeats, there are no excuses for the demo's of Monk and Pysch. Also expect to see Aliens in America to be cancelled and The Gane to return next season for CW but seriously CW itself should be cancelled.

Must dash, got to watch part 2 of the ITV drama "FLOOD"

I've heard many calling for the Emmy's to show Brothers & Sisters some loving but only time will tell for the 10pm hit.

I'm thinking Patricia Wettig will see a Supporting Actress nomination this year, along with Rachel Griffiths. Sally Field should be a shoe-in for another Lead Actress nod. And I'd hope Sopranos not being on the air will open up a Best Drama slot for B/S.

But that's just me.

Anyone else see Family Guy ???

I thought it was easily 2nd best of season behind the STAR WARS episode...The pirate fight in the two cars was fantastic

I watched it last night. Gotta say, FG still has no idea how to cut a joke before it because stupid. Yes, I'm talking about the fight between the two cars. It seemed to go on forever.

The SW parody was still the best in every way, shape and form. I was rolling on the floor when it aired.

This was the last new episode of Family Guy until the Fall. According to all the websites, anyway. It's odd that the ads didn't advertise it as a finale.
