Towards the end of season 6 the show hit under 10 million so after a big break I would say success not too mention it was up against football and 24 has a large male demo.

Round-Up...

A night of winners like msot sundays and FOX for this time took away CBS & ABC domience of the night by breaking up there 1 & 2 partnership but next week am sure order will be restored...

Football Overrun got FOX off to a good start and the return of 24 did not dissapoint either. I would of maybe expected a slighty higher demo but up against Football it had to share some of the 18-49, mainly the male part. However 12 million is a very good start and I fear Heroes will be smashed to pieces and NBC need to move it away I would suggest 8pm non monday slot.

Despite losing there number 1 status, CBS had a good night anyway with most shows at there normal levels though 60 minutes is enjoying a high of late. The Amazing race is clearly losing steam compared other years but the show would still work as a summer show if it begins to fall even further. The Unit is recovering over the last few weeks and at the moment it does god work alongside Cold Case but I think CBS still won't be happy come April/May. The only way I can see The Unit surviving is to be moved as a 8pm or 9pm slot and for me would do better on Wednesday instead of the two comedies there which would suit Sundays 8-9 better allowing Cold Case to be pushed to 10-11.

Despite being down slighty, NBC football did well up against 24, which I've already said were competing heavily for the 18-49 demo mainly the male viewers. ABC had a good night too with the awards and didn't miss there normal shows at all apart from 7-8pm.

CW entire Sunday lineup has been cancelled so hopefully we will see something a little better come 2009.

Nice to see the 24 movie did well. I haven't seen it yet--it's waiting for me on TiVO!--but it's nice to see the show still doing well and hope this bodes well for the seventh season in January. More than anything, I hope the seventh season is better than the sixth.
