What is happening to HIMYM? It should be able to beat reruns of Big Bang Theory and 2,5 Men.

Big Bang being the better show, but I have always figured the others to be more popular.

Apart from season one, The Big Bang has had the bigger audience and thats increased since the move to 9:30. CBS are set to move TBBT to 9pm for this season to test it out should they fail to get Sheen to come back for an 8th season. Reports suggest Sheen may be willing to do a final 8th season but not at the $1 million per episode being offered by CBS.

Ratings are always lower in recent years for spring times though season finales normally see increases. I would be worried for HIMYM if these numbers occured in the fall.

Also today...

NBC picked up Parenthood today for a 2nd year.

What I find so amazing is even the RERUNS of Men & Bang do so damn well. Do people not realize they're old? And I thought Mother was pulling 10-11 million...

How much does Sheen want? I would be more than happy to take $1 Million per episode. :D

Yeah, one million per episode is almost nothing.

I doubt old people are watching 2.5 Men and Big Bang Theory, though...

Oddly, the 50+ year old people I work with love 2.5 Men...I put up a picture at my desk making fun of the show and caught all kinds of hell for mocking it...

I don't generally pay attention to overall ratings much, but man, NBC is really and truly in the crapper, isn't it? I knew it was bad, but I didn't realize it was THAT bad...

Could be that because the 9 and 9:30 shows were advertised as repeats, people skipped the whole night, to some extent? So many shows in repeats right now, hard to track which are new. Without my DVR, I'd be lost...

I keep wondering how long before CW is finally disqualified from being listed in these ratings. I mean - less than a million people? When BBC America aired Doctor Who the other night they got more viewers than The CW and that's a niche digital cable channel!
