Quite a few boxes there because I have quite a bit to say on all these shows but that can wait for later.

It's May and in most of the country very very hot. So I think shows, like House, are suffering because of that. Just a few weeks ago I think House had 2 million more viewers. Either way it's not like House is going to get canceled, there is still at least two more years of the show because Hugh Lurie has a contract through season 8.

Starting with ABC and Castle proves even without a DWTS direct lead in that it can secure over 10 million in may and a decent demo to boot for the 10pm slot. I am not so sure ABC will renew Romantically Challenged because being a sitcom you would expect a good demo and its not happening, maybe ABC could put it on before DWTS.

Yes after Mid March the ratings normally begin to slide due to the improving weather but still you have to admit House hitting under 4.0 demo and 10 million is a long shot off where it used to be. I suspect next fall House will be back in 12 million range but this probably means House will end after season 8 or I hope it will because should FOX continue to milk it the numbers could make this one time giant look liek the next ER. The only reason 24 struggled this season was Winter Games + no original lead in for more than several weeks but I do wonder if FOX may regret tossing 24 aside come the end of 2010-2011 season.

Chuck is in danger but should be safe is what I hear and I think at the least a 4th 13 episode season is probably going to happen. Law & Order has a place on NBC but IMO its friday nights only.

OTH is expected to be cancelled though I must say why the hell should Gossip Girl be spared. Both shows need axing even by CW standards.

The fall numbers better improve for HIMYM come 2010 fall otherwise next season will be all she wrote since CBS are never worried about axing a show. Also I have doubts if CBS think RoE could manage a full season and its could be in trouble. The Big Bang proves it can lead the hour slot should Sheen leave Two & Half Men but the big news is the fall of CSI Miami in 2010...

The entire franchise dropped viewers in March but the parent show has come through that blip but the two spinoffs have not. CSI Miami while safe for next season could be facing more than a spring weather problem but an actual breaking point of the fanbase...there becoming bored with CSI.

I am going to call it and within the next 2 years we will lose our first CSI show. However CBS could stop the bleed and parnter up the parent show with one of its spinoffs next season...

Personally I would put CSI & CSI NY together allowing The Mentalist to occupy Tuesdays at 9pm since that night is going to be revamped next season and the Criminal Minds spinoff can air out of its parent show at 10pm in NY former slot on wednesdays.

No non-CBS show is where it used to be. The TV rating system is a joke and we really have no clue what anyone is watching anymore.

Big Bang is clearly CBS's best comedy with 2.5 Men out of the way!!

Never cared about any of the procedual shows so I've been over the CSI fad for about 8yrs ahead of most everybody else.

What House can be proud off is being a oversea hit and from what I hear one of the most DVR/Tivo show giving it a few million viewers extra.

I do wonder what show FOX will place with House next season because I feel FOX will stay stupid and keep Fringe at 9pm Thursdays.

Sorry to see Chuck circling the drain, that's too bad. I also wonder how much longer How I Met Your Mother is going to last. Yesterday was the first time that I didn't find anything amusing about that show, everything was a bit cliche. Although the french horn in the empty room made me a little sad.

Can someone explain the appeal of Dancing With The Stars? My mom loves the show, and she is just baffled why neither my wife or I watch it but she can't explain why it's good.

HIMYM, is doing quite bad. and seems to be going nowhere.
For me its not that HIMYM is a bad show just another take on Friends(not that I ever watched that regularly). These type group show in NY never seem real to me. I've not heard people complaining about lack of ethnicity on HIMYM like I did with Friends either yet they came off similar lines.
