Good riddance to Playboy Club. :p

Terra Nova
may be in trouble, too. Given the huge budget that they need to spend on that show (the characters are dull, so it's all about the dinos), FOX may not be able to afford that show. I'm sure they were expecting over 10M viewers for the premiere, and banking on the notoriety of doing something not generally seen on TV to garner a big sampling.

If there's the usual second-week dropoff of 30-50% that we often see, especially for high-profile series that is somewhat disappointing in execution, that show might be finished. I wonder how much international ratings might factor in? They must have sold it widely overseas.

Of the three big network "experiments" this fall, I think Pan Am will turn out to be the only success. Unlike the other two, Pan Am actually delivered interesting characters who can grab an audience on their own merits. Plus glitzy production values and the spy angle won't hurt.

The final numbers for Terra Nova: 9.22 million viewers and a 3.1/8 in the demo.

17 freshman scripted shows have premiered so far this season. Ranking them by their premiere demo rating looks like this:

1. 2 Broke Girls (CBS) - 7.1/16
2. New Girl (Fox) - 4.8/12
3. Up All Night (NBC) - 3.7/10
4. Revenge (ABC) - 3.3/9
5. Whitney (NBC) - 3.3/9
6. Person of Interest (CBS) - 3.1/8
7. Pan Am (ABC) - 3.1/8
8. Terra Nova (Fox) - 3.1/8
9. Unforgettable (CBS) - 2.9/8
10. Charlie’s Angels (ABC) - 2.1/6
11. Free Agents (NBC) - 2.1/6
12. Prime Suspect (NBC) - 1.8/5
13. The Playboy Club (NBC) - 1.6/4
14. A Gifted Man (CBS) - 1.4/5
15. The Secret Circle (CW) - 1.3/4
16. Ringer (CW) - 1.2/3
17. Hart of Dixie (CW) - 0.8/2

Holy crap. I thought Terra Nova was supposed to be the huge smash hit of the Fall :wtf: Damn, it is so getting canceled now, with that budget. I'm only 30 minutes into it so far but I think it's fun.

Those ratings hold then its probably fine but shows typically drop from their pilots.
