The Event won't be back next season in all likelyhood so hopefully they'll wrap up as much of it as they can.

They already tried this with Sara Gilbert. I think the show works so much better with just the guys and Penny.

That was done with Leonard and it was to serve a purpose. The purpose being, imo, to show that Penny and Leonard while on the surface are opposites are those "opposites that belong together".

Howard's arc seems to be that of insecure "I'll take some action anywhere I can find it" to "I might have let the right one get away" syndrome. Now she's back.

Sheldon is in the midst of something he doesn't recognize as what he's truly doing.

That leaves Raj. Who in all likelihood will either A)Grow a pair and talk to women sans alcohol or B)End up back in India with an arranged woman. Since the shows couples seems to be about breaking preset stereotypes(by the characters themselves) I'd go with choice 'A' for Raj.

Our characters are undergoing a maturation arc as I see it.


As for Chuck, the show may well not even have to worry about being on the bubble. I saw 15 minutes of it at the gym on the elipitical last night with his mom. Looked good and I'm not currently a viewer.
