Round-Up..

ABC and CBS split the spoils like usual though all 3 of ABC's shows were up from one week ago and next week DWTS ends so expect a huge rating draw for that but CBS are the ones who should be happier IMO...

TBBT scored another Series High Ratings by beating its former best by 18,000 viewers with the same demo score. HIMYM continues to be the best partner possible with another season high beating its former best by 164,000 viewers and with the same demo. Two & Half Men was at normal levels but Worst Week continues it recovery from 3 weeks ago that saw it hit the middle 8 million range and CSI Miami won the 10pm hour with ease.

Despite being in the losers list and slipping from last week, Chuck is in a much better position than a few weeks ago and only needs a little bit more to get into the safe 7 million zone. Heroes stopped the bleeding and actually went up in viewers but NBC MUST, MUST move it away from 9pm come January as 24 will pound the show to death IMO. When football is over I would say Sundays would work wonders but thats a while from now.

SCC hit all new lows by a series low with ease by dropping 700,000 viewers from last and dropping to the mid 4 million range. Prsion Break continues to improve out of SCC but is still doing far to poorly to carry on past the 4th season. PB has seemed to have had the stronger fanbase this year so SCC would of done better if FOX had move the show to 9pm and am afraid all the friday slot will do is take SCC to all new lows and bring Dollhouse along with it. I will stick by my original opinion back in September and say that FOX should of held SCC Back till midseason for Idol's return, infact with the strike last year theyknew was coming, they should of held the show back to begin season 1 till this season.

CW decent work from Mon-Thursday is being ruined over the last few weeks and I cannot explain One Tree Hill, which had dropped so badly in November.

Hard to believe Heroes used to get 14 million regularly and now isn't getting 8. I TiVOed last night's episode but haven't watched yet.

Miami was a decent episode--they're trying to make the cases more personal, which is a really good thing IMO.

Yeah.. I really don't understand what is happening to One Tree Hill. It's been a steady performer for quite a while now and all of a sudden it's cratering. Not too coincidently right after it got a big write up in Entertainment Weekly about how well it is doing and has been a real steady player for the networks it's been on. It worries me cause I like the show and want it to keep going.

Good for Heroes staying stable and during T-Day week, too. Lots of people travel the whole week and it would have been easy for live viewings to take a hit.

Hard to believe Heroes used to get 14 million regularly and now isn't getting 8.

11M if you count DVRs but I can see why the overall ratings have dropped. The show has done some controversial things in pursuing certain character and story arcs, and not everyone is going to agree with those decisions. And the writing has been sloppy in some areas. If you're on the fence for what they're doing to characters you (used to) like, poor writing can push you right off the fence.

Does anyone else agree NBC have to move Heroes away from 24 in 2009 and where would you put it ?

I do think Wednesday night 8 or 9.

Heroes definitely needs to move out of the Monday 9 PM slot when 24 returns. Maybe that's what the next arc will be about--Hiro and/or Peter travel to the future to discover that the show's been canceled, and then they have to return to the past and convince NBC to move it before 24 comes back. :p

A better slot would help bring make some DVR people am sure and the best night for TV is 8-10pm on sundays but I am not sure how the NBC football lineup is shaping up come Jan, and keeping Heroes back for a later date is out of the question.

The last thing NBC needs to do is move Heroes. Nothing kills shows faster then new timeslots.

Season one of Heroes did fine against 24. I predict that the trend with seasons with 24 will continue, with the first few episodes doing well then the later half of the season not doing as well.

NBC has just confirmed HEROES will not return till Feb for the 2nd volume of season 3, risky indeed because if 24 season 7 is any good, it will have taken fans that may not want to watch Heroes over the FOX hit come FEB.

Go HIMYM!!!! This episode wasn't as good but hopefully the amazing Woo! episode would help propel it even further. Hopefully +ve word of mouth will keep the ratings going up and up!
