Its the final thread of the TV season for me and I would like to thank everyone for helping to keep these threads alive and I hope you enjoyed your season of shows, I know I did :).

We said farewell to many shows this season such as Law & Order, Scrubs, Lost, 24, Heroes and many more. I look forward to to returning in September for the start of next season...

ABC: 12.48 million, CBS: 11.89, Fox: 8.85, NBC: 5.91, CW: 734,000

-Adults 18-49:
CBS: 3.9 rating/11 share, ABC: 3.2/9, Fox: 2.7/8, NBC: 1.8/5, CW: 0.3/1

ABC

Law & Order (series finale) - 7.60 million & 1.9/5

CW

Who cares just repeats :p

---------------------------------------------------------

As for LOST well it may not of been the huge 20 million + we might of gotten a few years ago but a HEAVYILY serialized show that started 6 years ago should be fairly happy with...

13.5 million viewers and a 5.8/15 for the 2 & half hour series finale entitled "The End"

Before that Lost got...

Lost: The Final Journey - drew an average audience of 9.8 million & 4.0/13

After that...

ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live: Aloha to Lost” generated 4.88 million viewers and 2.73 million in Adults 18-49

Remember LOST is one of the most timeshifted shows if not the number 1 timeshifted show. I expect with DVR/TIVO, ABC Website player and people using other means like thje 1st repeat on ABC or the internet that the final audience is most likely several million higher possibly 17-18 million ish.

Such a pity that some people didn't stick around for one of the most thrilling and mind boggling shows in TV history though ABC shifting the show around over 6 seasons needs to take some of the flack for that.

Overall though when everything is taken in like I posted above LOST probably didn't lose much from the original audience if really had.

Goodbye LOST and goodbye to these threads until September 2010 :techman:

I completely forgot about the series finale of Law and Order!!!

I actually completely forgot it was Tuesday today.

Law and Order may have a low demo but NBC made a mistake not putting it on Friday nights. NBC have also made a huge mistake putting Chuck on next fall to anchor the monday nights as it will cancel the two lead outs right away.

TBBT will drop a few million next season on Thursdays but I feel CSI Miami will do solid work on sundays. CSI NY for me will become the first canned CSI show within 2 years.

I will miss 24 and FOX may struggle next monday at 9pm due to House being a weaker lead in than ever before due to the loss of its own audience.
