The reason for posting the awful Skating with the Stars numbers down here is because of the stupid and odd runtime of 2 hours 17 mins there is no overall figure so here is the breakdown....

9:13 pm – 19.45 million & 4.4/11

9:30 pm - 10.97 million & 2.7/7

Teach you right ABC, STUPID CONCEPT. Castle may find it self back sooner than expected. I'll post sunday numbers + Cable later.

Well yes, skating with the stars is a stupid concept, but so is dancing with them, yet that's somehow popular. That seems like a huge drop from the beginning of the program to the end! It must really and truly be horrible.

I've never heard of a single one of their alleged stars, nor even their professional skating partners. Didn't Fox do this like 5 years ago, called "Skating with Celebrities"? But with people who were actually somewhat well-known?

The show is on its 4th/5th series over here in the UK.:brickwall:

I have to say that I'm stunned that for a such a LOST-centric board, that there wasn't a thread devoted to Jorge Garcia's appearance on HIMYM last night. He even got off a couple of LOST references.

You know I was wondering why my anti-LOST comment in that other thread didn't bring down a whole lot of crap on me. I was kind of cringing, wait for the smack, but it never really happened.

So wait, I guess I missed a memo somewhere... when does Castle come back?

Also, I see that Five-0 was up again for the second week in a row. Does that help its chances, or is it too little too late now?

Castle returns on 6th December then it goes away until January 3rd (seems a week to early for midseason). ABC pissing around with Castle but it shouldn't affect the ratings too much I suspect.

ABC would be wise to ditch Skating with The Stars if next week tumbles more or revamp the idea with proper celebs for a summer show ?

If it can remain near those levels it should be fine but when Castle returns expect it to lose viewers. Five-O has never gone lower than being on the bubble so even if it does drop viewers, the show will have at least 50/50 chance barring a collaspe...better than ROE chances.

I look at House's ratings and yes its worthy of an 8th season but can't we let it go out with dignity and end it after 7 ? A full 8th season order makes me wonder if House will bow out with a demo under 3.0 and under 8 million at the rate of yearly erosion. At least make it only 13 episodes so next midseason you can begin to relaunch the night.

saying that the season deserves better ratings.

Quagmire needs his own show...

That was the idea before Cleveland got the go ahead and GOD NO that would of been worse. Family Guy did not need a spinoff and its a pity American Dad has never got the ratings it deserves because its the funniest show on that lineup.

Peter already told him he couldn't because he's a rapist.

The Cleveland Show is hilarious and has already been renewed for a 3rd season.

It will struggle to get a 4th because its dropping quicker than American Dad did though syndication could be its saviour to get 4/5 season minimum as animated shows are perfect to sell off for rerun packages.

I will never understand network giving early renewals for next season pickups, current full orders yes but next season before we even finish the fall seems crazy especially for low rated shows.
