As far as cable SF goes, the number one example is Stargate SG-1.

So... who actually knew that Cleveland Show was showing a new episode at 7:30pm?! I sure didn't. I hate it when they air a show at 7:30, I check primetime listings not 7pm listings.

My DVR told me.

I'd never watch anything without the damn DVR to keep track. I need a DVR for the rest of my life, too.

As far as cable SF goes, the number one example is Stargate SG-1. Many of the people so hot for the esthetic creativity of cable conveniently overlook this.

Stargate SG-1 was a wimpy show that had nothing to say and wasn't in the least bit daring. As it went on it merely insulted the intelligence of the viewer more and more.

DWTS is more than just family-friendly pablum, it also exposes the viewer to the smoking hot bodies of young (or middle-aged) professional dancers, both male and female. Ahem.

I've never watched the show live but I did stumble across YouTubes of Apolo Anton Ono's performances. Yowzah.
