Why does Two and a Half Men do that well? It's not THAT funny.

And Bones got 10+ million, impressive. Let's see how bad the ratings fall next season after that ending.

Winners...
Two and a Half Men, Rules of Engagement, CSI Miami, House and Dancing With the Stars

Honorable Mention...

Worrying...
The Big Bang Theory and How I Met Your Mother

Decent...
The Bachelorette, Gossip Girl and One Tree Hill

Losers...
American Gladiators and Dateline

Round-up...

Bones and DWTS took away viewers from BBT & HIMYM and while in the fall that won't matter because they won't face those shows, am worried for both shows more so BBT since I actually watch it. I think both shows will return to 8.5 million+ and a demo higher than 3.0 but will it be enough for CBS and what will happen in the new year when Dollhouse and DWTS arrives on the scene.

I have to admit I have mixed feelings for the finale of BONES but I've checked out more reviews from the fans and its more forgiving than I expected so any fan drop off will hopefully be small. However Bones will see a big drop off should FOX continue with the midseason 2009 friday night move. Speaking of FOX, House was fantastic and possibly the finest hour of TV this season so far...EMMY's please pay attention and give Hugh Laurie his overdue Emmy Award for Best Actor in drama series.

NBC needs to learn to start there summer shows in actual summer though a nice small surprise for CW, which saw Gossip Girl and OTH return to respectable levels for the CW anyway but am sure it will be short lived.

OTH has the potential to break 3 million+ regulary but only with the right partner, meanwhile Gossip Girl ideal situation would be to lead out of Next Top Model.

You know, I had a feeling House was gonna get over 16 million viewers this week. I'm glad I was right. :)

It amazes me that Two and a Half Men aside, 90% of the talk about CBS' comedy block focuses on HIMYM and TBBT, when both are consistently outperformed by Rules of Engagement which hardly seems to get a mention.

Decent numbers for Bones though.
