Some bad news for NA fans and good news for fans of J.J Abrams...
Am hoping if it does well that the two will bep aired together come mid season though am a little unhappy Dollhouse will air during midseason as it will struggle against shows that already have an audience by then and DWTS will be waiting to chop it down.
Fox has given a series greenlight to Abrams' latest project "Fringe," according to The Hollywood Reporter, which will join "Dollhouse" from Joss Whedon on the network's schedule.
Fringe" centers around an FBI agent who has to work with a group of scientists to help solve some rather strange cases. It stars Joshua Jackson, Charlotte Rampling and Kirk Acevedo.
Dollhouse" has already been given a seven-episode order, and is expected to be a mid-season show. It's not clear when "Fringe" will premiere, but that likely will take place in the fall.

Those pickups mean that "New Amsterdam," however, is finished, according to TV Guide. The show which didn't carry a lot of confidence to begin with despite premiering with an overnight rating of an 8.3 rating/12 share. However, by the time the show wrapped up, it had lost more than half its audience, finishing below a 4.0 household rating.
ABC is looking to give a greenlight finally to the British series remake "Life on Mars" now that it has struck a deal with rights-holder David E. Kelley that involved renewing "Boston Legal" for a fifth season.
That, of course, means that Kelley will not be the showrunner for "Mars," and that the network will have to bring someone else in.
The American version stars Jason O'Mara as Sam Tyler as well as Rachelle Lefevre and "Star Trek: Deep Space Nine's" Colm Meaney.
