Great tribute to a a great example.

As for fame and star quality, I think a lot of stars back then were big primarily because of talent and screen presence and the fact we DIDN'T know every stupid little detail about their lives by the glut of "show biz shows", blogs, and checkout magazines.

Mystique adds charisma. As for Newman, he was just an amazing talent who kept the meaning of acting in check. He just lived, and rarely talked about his accomplishments.

Wit, charm and modesty ... where have those gone?

Paul Newman is one of those guys I would go gay for.

I can only hope I age just as gracefully as he did.
