Alright, it's only a few days left till Christmas, so how could this not be Christmas-themed. And there's one character more associated with it than any other, because it's the celebration of his birth (or so I've heard), and that is Santa Claus. So, let's see TV's and Movie's Santas, whether it's a "real" version, like Ed Assner from "Elf", or a different character playing Santa, like Homer Simpson working as a Mall Santa. Maximum size is 200x200 pixels and/or 1 Mb data, keep it worksafe (so no rule 34 allowed), and we'll have two entries per user. So, dash away, dash away, dash away all!
What's that? Looks like Benny Hill dressed as Santa Claus. Here are my entries (trying not to fall back on my usual pick, Richard Attenborough): The Nightmare Before Christmas Santa Claus: The Movie
Both of my entires: "The Simpsons" (store Santa) (Bart is arrested for shoplifting; while being walked by, Santa offers hi ma candy cance and the store security man says, "None for him". Santa, pictured above: "Oh, I see...") "Futurama" (Evil Robot Santa)
Well, this is going to be stiff competition. But here are my two: Tim Allen - The Santa Clause movies: Ed Asner - Murdoch Mysteries Christmas Special
Fantastic entries, everyone! Since this is going so well this time around, I'm planning on putting the poll up on Sunday night (mid-European time), so we can vote over Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day. So that's about a day and a half left to enter. @auntiehill , if you wish, you may enter one more avatar, though I have a feeling yours will already do pretty well in the poll.
Well, here's a suggestion. I think it might be better to maybe extend this one a little bit given that it's the holidays. Given that there will be celebration and that people will be scattered, possibly travelling and maybe unable to give their attention to the board to vote, maybe extend this one until Thursday? That will allow anyone who's on holidays time to settle back in and the voting given proper attention.
That's a good idea. Plus, somebody has to enter mall Santa pushing Ralph down from "A Christmas Story".
Fair enough. Poll goes up on Boxing Day, then, and will close on Sunday. That should give everyone enough time to vote.
