This one is all about films from the great nation of Italy. The country that gave us directors like Federico Fellini, Bernardo Bertolucci, Sergio Leone, Mario Bava, Sergio Cobucci, Dario Argento, and even Tinto Brass, as well as stars like Sophia Loren, Claudia Cardinale, Franco Nero, Terence Hill & Bud Spencer, Adriano Celentano, Ornella Muti, and Roberto Benigni. Not to mention legendary producer Dino DeLaurentis and one of the greatest film music composers Ennio Morricone.

To clarify what qualifies as an Italian film, international co-productions are fine, but the primary production company as well as the director have to be Italian. All genres are allowed, and all users may have up to three entries.

As usual, entries may not be larger than 200x200 pixels and/or 1 Mb data, and while the films don't need to be safe for work (it is Italian cinema, after all), the entries certainly have to be.

Buon divertimento.

The Good, the Bad and the Ugly

As far as I know, it's the only film with an international cult following which is set in my home town of Freiburg, so obviously I have to go with it.

Suspiria (1977)

My two entries are from The Pumaman, a 1980 shit-fest that was a blatant attempt to cash in on the global success of Richard Donner's Superman.

This first one might bend the rules slightly, since it's actually from the MST3K episode featuring Pumaman...

Or as Donald "Kobras" Pleasence might say, "Pew-ma-man"
