Here i talk about "Tuvix" and "The Thaw"...

http://youtu.be/Z6n3YZrB6PA

watchin Star Trek Voyager and just watch
this episode where there's a transporter malfunction, the two of them combined and there's all this silly,I mean I liked the more serious Star Trek great episodes, couple episodes ago there's this one where the beamed up this computer thing this artificial environment in hand these horrible, both be creepy and scary stuff.. clowns beheading people. it was just when those kinda weird artsy episodes like the original series used to do where they end up someplace weird and
there's like all this weird nonsensical stuff going on I don't enjoy that.

Thanks everyone.
I may re-watch TOS and TNG and DS9 do videos about some of them also.

NO one is going to watch your video, you were extremely lucky that I was in a small coma and happened to watch your first one. You need to post your thoughts about Tuvix in a thread (this one is fine). Then people will discuss it. You can link your youtube channel in your sig line.

My youtube is not just star trek so that would not be proper...

so i guess people will just haft to miss out..

You can link anything you want in a sig. It's just this is a discussion forum so if you want to discuss an episode you have to write about it.

You've already started a thread called Tuvix and The Thaw, so you can discuss them right in here.

You would make a thread (like you did for this one). I came here thinking you had a thread about those two episodes. But basicallly you would just write your opinion instead of just a vid.

You'll get more feedback if you discuss the episodes here, rather than expecting people to comment on the video. Threads here often become animated conversations, and might take surprising turns at times, with ideas introduced you may have never considered.

Are you implying Melakon that something new might be said one day about Tuvix?

No, I think he's implying the thread will be hijacked by the pro and anti Kes forces and degenerate into a free for all that will have poor Lynx pulling out every last hair from the poor feline's head. :rommie:

I want Casio to start a "Chakotay/Chipotlé Thread, comparing and contrasting the two! :)

"The Thaw"..... clowns beheading people.
I've not seen the episode very many times, but yes, it is very strange. I'm not sure if I like it either.

Best thing is, the clown is Lenny of Lenny and Squiggy from Laverne and Shirley.

Did the Janeway doppleganger survive?

The Clown died without a humanoid brain to draw substance from, but as long as that complex had power, that version of Janeway should have survived, unless there was an extraction protocol and she was resting on a hard drive on Voyager for the next 5 years waiting for her next mi...

OMG.

The ECH!

That fricking Vampire has to eat another hologram as complex as he is every two years to extend his run time and avoid computer senility... If he ate the Hologram of Janeway from The Thaw, no wonder he "evolved" into the ECH or yearned to become the ECH!

It's just so blatently obvious!

The problem I have with "The Thaw" is it wants us to think it's very profound with all its bizarre characters and doubletalk dialogue, but it's just a big steaming pile of crap. And Michael McKean deserved a better script.

I always hated The Thaw which is seemingly loved by many?

I've wiped that episode from my memory. Without managing to re-watch I don't think I can articulate exactly why I think it so terrible, but I'd rather watch Threshold.

"The Thaw" was pretty scary to 11-year-old me. I mean, I don't mind clowns, but the guillotine part - yikes.

It was a a cautionary tale to the Voyager crew that someone had to sack-up and go to medical school on the holodeck before the EMH went insane and started collecting livers for trophies, but nobody was listening.
