Tuesday Box Office - Trek #5 - $0.9 million

Just got back from a 7.05 showing, and although they've relegated the movie to the smallest theater (I think) in the house, it was highly enjoyable and filled to about half capacity. Very enjoyable for my 6th time.

Can't wait for it in our local IMAX, where I will see it probably another 2 times.

That's a damn good turnout for a Wednesday night, five weeks in.

Wow, it was massive, seeing it in IMAX again! :D :D Picture and sound are massive. Thanks again for the tip MV.

My husband is very indulgent (thanks, indranee :)); he's actually not a particular trekker, but he likes sci-fi.

And it was visit #15 -- #11 in an IMAX.

Yeah, I might go to an IMAX showing again now that they have a 9:30 showing (couldn't bring myself to go after midnight).

On a side note, someone else feel free to do the box office numbers tomorrow. I'm gonna be away from my computer.

MV, as big a fan as I am, I couldn't hack the midnight showing either. You will be missed tomorrow.

As someone who's stepped on your toes once, I might do that, since your toes will be elsewhere.

Soon as I see it.

Unless someone beats me to it. (entirely possible)

Did anyone else notice the world wide sells?

I'll just point out that I've heard that the companies make a higher percentage off of the domestic than the international box office, so in this way two films with equal money aren't necessarily equal - the one that made more in US is better. So even though Trek isn't at the top of the list, its domestic take is, so it probably is faring a bit better than that list suggests.
