Trying to find a book called Dragonstar

Years ago in Analog I read a story called Dragonstar about a huge cylinder in orbit around our sun and the reptile-like beings humans found living in it when they went to investigate. Recently I've been trying to find a place to buy the book. What I've been led to believe is that it's a trilogy and if it is I've only been able to find the third book in the series. Does anyone know if the author of what I'm remembering is David F. Bischoff? Does anyone know where I can get copies of all the books in the series if so, or what I really am remembering if not?

Thank you for any help!
David

This page, on bookfinder.com, lists all 3 books, plus 3 issues of Analog. Click on each one to see all the buying options.

bookfinder.com only lists sellers, they doesn't actually sell themselves. I've found a few OOP books through them.

Abe.com, Alibris.com & Biblio.com are good places to find OOP stuff too.

LOL the customer reviews are not exactly encouraging. Still, the idea sounds pretty cool. I think I'll get myself the ebooks - one can't always trust other people's taste =)

This guy asked his question, got us to slave over a hot keyboard for him, and then left without so much as a thank you or acknowledgement. I feel used.

;)

Thank you folks for your help! Sorry I didn't get back to you in a timely enough fashion, but I tend to be a drag-ass sometimes. I've had a note to myself to try to find it since October 15 of last year, so...

You're in good company, nopeda :) Everyone here has their skeletons in the closet. In my case that's (among others) 3 countries at Nationstates which are constantly facing oblivion as I forget to log on and rule them. :D

 I'm reading something about the Thrintun right now. Another series I'd like to mention because it's great to me is about Rocheworld by David L Forward. Are you guys familiar with that? That is real "science" fiction to me, not just a drama or thriller taking place in a scifi sort of setting. The second book is excellent as well and carries on with concepts from the first book in very rewarding ways.
