True Blood heads up for Sunday (no spoilers)

For those in the US who will be watching and posting about True Blood on Sunday - yes, season 4 is finally here - we can get TWO episodes that night.

The first episode "She's Not There" will be showing on HBO at 9 pm Eastern. Immediately after it's finished airing, the second episode will be available via the website HBOGO.com. I'll have individual threads for both with polls, as usual, on Sunday.

If you are an HBO subscriber, you might want to go there in the next couple days and register for the website. It's available via computer and phone (and probably ipad too).

My understanding is that this is the only time they plan on having an episode of this season available to watch before it officially airs.

Couldnt we just keep the whole season contained in one thread? Seems to be the trend nowadays with shows with shorter run of episodes like the cable shows.

Not with this series, each episode needs its own. Especially since it's on HBO, and not everyone watches the episodes on Sunday ... prevents spoilers for those who watch them later, too.

Plus, what fun would a poll be if it's for the whole season, but posted with the first episode?

Fair enough. Well I at least hope this season turns out better than the last. Russell being one of the only memorable highlights.

Oh I preferred last season to the one before, which only really got going in the second half.

One of my co-workers is REALLY looking forward to this season. Book 4 is her favorite, though I won't get into why in a no-spoilers thread. She's been going on all day about it, though.

I'd tell her to knock it off, but it's entertaining.

Season 2 was messy as well, but last season I felt like there was maybe even too much going on (in the second half) only to conveniently be tied together at the 11th hour.
