^ It really is about time they went somewhere with the Sookie Is Different! thing. I assume it's a major thing in the books. Anyhoo - the occasional (usually nasty) person looking at her in wonderment and saying "What ARE you?!?" is wearing a little thin. Get on with it, already!

:D

It's being put out there in a major way in the tv series. In the books, it's not really even mentioned until book 6. Though, partway through reading the first book, I stumbled upon the wikipedia page for the books, and the "revelation" was in the first sentence on the page. Kind of spoiled things there.

Am I late to the party? Good episode, looks like we're going somewhere, yadda yadda. They sure do like to dance around what Sookie really is.

Evan Rachel Wood's acting torpedoes almost every scene she's in, though. I don't get it. I've seen her in other things and she always seemed charming and natural. Here, she's wooden and forced and just utterly unbelievable. I hope they are going to kill her off so we can get a Queen who isn't woefully miscast.

Does anyone else want to know just who 'the one true Vampire authority' is now that they've made such a big deal out of it?

They both have brown hair, they're interchangeable. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. :guffaw:
Eric does NOT have brown hair!:p

In the books, and in the first season. A few episodes into season 2, they died his hair ... And since this is only a few weeks later, it's still that same silly brown.

Haven't read the books. And they didn't dye his hair, they cut it. It may be the same silly color, but he's still blond. But this is all irrelevant.
