I'm so excited for this movie. So far I'm loving the descriptions I'm reading of the scene shown at the con and the designs. I know I'm going to go seriously fanboy happy when the first trailer hits.

Yes it has a really slick look to it. You might think it would be easy to produce a CGI sequel to Tron, but you have to think, they're trying to outdo the original movie and expectations of all the CGI movies since. It petty daunting. SO far it looks like they are succeeding.

Yeah, they have to outdo the original -- and yet maintain a similar aesthetic which, nowadays, is a decidedly low-tech, highly angular, CGI look.

This weekend will be really exciting. I've been watching Tron again a few weeks back and I still love it, the graphics, everything. I still remember how amazed I was when I discovered the first trailer 28 years ago. The new graphics look amazing and it looks like we'll be given some good nostalgia, I like that.
