Trick Or Treat Dedication - Real or Fake?

Did anyone just see the dedication after Trick or Treat a few minutes ago to Joey Russell who took part in the episode revolving around bad luck? It says she lost her life after filming her part of the episode. Immediately I was shocked that she had lost her life but then I had a niggling doubt, are they taking the piss? Why would they have a participant breaking commonly known superstitutions who actually said in her own words "oh my god what if I die on the way home?" and then she actually dies on the way home after filming and still show her part in the episode along with a dedication? I am really confused now! Is Derren Brown mindfucking the viewing public? Or was it for real, and she really did lose her life? If he fooled us, he is so devious! If he didn't, I don't know what else to say other than such a tragedy! Help!

Well considering mind games are what Derren Brown is famous for, I'd hazard a guess that it's a trick, but this time the trick is on the viewing public.

I really do think it was a trick. Even Derren Brown wouldn't go that far to actually put a member of the public through that and then still show their piece after having "died" because of what she did with him! It has to be a joke, but not sure if I am supposed to be laughing or feel offended? Lol.

I just watched it. The voice over at the end said "Don't worry, Derren was only joking, she's fine."
