Can't say I really need tribbles in Discovery, but since I'm sure they'll only be a background gag (like in Star Trek III), it doesn't bother me.

Oh, you can bet there'll be a Mirror DSC episode somewhere down the line. It's almost inevitable.

And it doesn't even have to have a crossover with the regular universe. ENT's "In a Mirror, Darkly" didn't have one (the appearance of the Defiant notwithstanding) and it managed just fine...

Also, the Mirror DSC Starfleet uniforms will be red. I totally called it.

If you mean "everyone" as in eleven extraordinarily bored people, then yes, everyone wants to see that. Otherwise I sincerely doubt it's crossed most people's minds.

...But nobody on the TOS Enterprise knew what tribbles were until Jones introduced them in TTwT. Therefore, they were totally unknown to the entire Federation until the events of TTwT, and thus should not appear in DSC.

They never said there would be an episode focused on them. They might be in the background or something

And (not counting TAS) there have only been 2 episodes that had tribbles in the plot.
