Tri-ox compound has been invented

    Once again, Star Trek predicts real world developments. A team at Boston Children's Hospital has invented microparticles composed of oxygen gas in a lipid suspension. The liquid can be injected into someone suffering from respiratory failure, keeping the patient alive for 15 to 30 minutes. Sounds like tri-ox to me!

    Very cool. That would have helped me a couple of times when I was little. I had severe asthma and had some touch and go bouts of pneumonia that turned me blue.
