Trend Micro Chipaway?

A fairly old computer I aquired has Trend Micro Chipaway on it, whenever I boot-up I get a message saying Trend Micro has detected a virus on boot-up. It gives me the option to hit enter to see more information, or to hit N to boot-up normally. The computer boots up fine, and I even ran AVG, Malwarebytes, and Housecall, all which didn't find any viruses or malware. So, should I be concerned? I read that you can disable Chipaway in the BIOS, but just wanted some advice on this.

AVG is rather bad when it comes to antivirus protection (plus it's a resource hog).
Out of free programs, I would recommend either Avira or Microsoft Security Essentials for antivirus/antispyware protection.

I read a bit about this problem you are getting.
Right now, the only thing I can recommend is to remove AVG and replace it with Avira or MSE (fully update their definitions) and finally run a full scan of the entire system (I suggest doing this in Safe Mode).

Housecall is unnecessary.
Malwarebytes is pretty good, but you would only need to run it once in a month or two when you have decent protection in place.
