TrekYards - How Prodigy is Made - Ft. Aaron Waltke (Lead Writer)

Very interesting, thanks for sharing.

The unified command (no change of showrunners every 5 minutes) and the planning is what makes Prodigy (potentially, but so far they live up to that potential) great. They know where they are going and they integrate the elements that are building to their conclusion, already from episode 1. Written like a novel, more than a standard Hollywood (live action) TV series.

If only more shows got to be planned out from day 1 / episode 1.

I like how Aaron Waltke basically says that, as far as he is concerned, Zero is at least partially responsible for the breakdown in the cube that became the artifact (which may or may not be the cube encountered by the "Protogies"). The attention to detail is laudable, also for example in the species number that the Medusans got from the Borg.

An article that expands a bit on what Aaron suggested (regarding the cube in Picard), here : https://trekmovie.com/2022/11/06/da...s-the-borg-from-voyager-to-picard-and-beyond/
