I just saw a post on the Star Trek Livejournal community and, between slashfic posts, somebody mentioned a brand-new fan-run convention called TrekTrax Atlanta.
It looks like it's in February - the weekend of President's day. They've got Tim Russ and the Duras sisters coming as well. There are tracks surrounding the Klingon language, costuming, makeup, and a small writing workshop with Diana Botsford (STTNG:Rascals).
I've been to Shore-Leave many times, and would love to encourage more fan-run cons, so it would be cool to head out that way. I was curious to know if anybody out there had either heard about this con, or had planned on going.
I'd love it if my Pocket buddies would go, though I doubt they'd be able to.
