People can nominate themselves for a record and others can challenge them if they think they can break a record.

Example of records might be

Tallest member Locutus of Bored 6’ 6”

Member who lives at the highest altitude (not me, I am at sea level)

Most southern living member. StarMan 43.5 degrees south
Biggest vinyl record collection
Biggest audiobook collection Miss Chicken 1369 audiobooks at Audible plus 2 or 3 dozen elsewhere
Furthest distance travelled to go to college 1001001 7932 miles
Highest post count on Trekbrekbbs
Owner of the most Trek related items LAFR 654 items.

Been in Christchurch for 30+ years (minus a tragic 6 day stint in Melbourne). I lived down there briefly as a wee one tho.

I think you are correct. I know there was someone in Dunedin.

I am trying for another record - largest audiobook collection. I have 1369 titles at Audible, and some at Kobo and I think at audiobooks dot com.

also maybe we should see who in this thread can claim the highest post count.
