A real doozy (I think) of a Trek question......

What (10) ten actors appeared WITH A SPEAKING role in ALL THREE SEASONS of TOS?

First 7 are obviously easy, the second two a little harder and the tenth probably will require someone to be a real nerd---like I am.

I'm very interested to know the answer to this one. Here's my guess:

Leonard Nimoy
William Shatner
DeForest Kelley
Nichelle Nichols
James Doohan
George Takei
Majel Barrett
John Winston
David L. Ross
Bart La Rue

Shatner, Nimoy, Kelley, Doohan, Takei, Nichols, and Barrett are the easy seven.

John Winston had lines as Chief Kyle in all three seasons. David L. Ross had speaking roles in all three seasons, as Galloway in seasons 1 & 2 and Johnson in season 3.

Ed McCready had speaking roles as the boy creature in "Miri," Dr. Carter of the Exeter in "The Omega Glory," and the barber in "Spectre of the Gun," as well as nonspeaking roles as a Tantalus inmate in "Dagger of the Mind" and an Ekosian sergeant in "Patterns of Force."

How are you defining "appeared?" Bart LaRue and Barbara Babcock both had voiceover roles in all three seasons, but LaRue was only on camera in "Bread and Circuses" and Babcock was only on camera in "A Taste of Armageddon" and "Plato's Stepchildren." So that's twelve actors in all with speaking roles in all three seasons.

^^^ Great you got nine.

I meant ONSCREEN speaking part--not voice-over, so Bart LaRue wasn't part of my list but I should have been more clear.

What 3rd season episode did LaRue do a voice-over for anyway?

So there in one person left from my list

Okay you got Ed Mcready---that was the tenth.
And you were both right on Bart larue he did the excalbian's voice in Savage Curtain

Well done and i'll remember to include or exclude voice-over work next time!!

La Rue voiced one of the rock creatures in "The Savage Curtain", according to Memory Alpha. Looks like Christopher cleaned up, though!
